Many villagers along the trails will arrange their cultural performance to welcome and to entertain for trekkers during the main season that is on September-October of the year. Gurungs of this area is also famous for their service in both British and Indian Army as especial regiment (force) called Gorkha soldier. Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Details Itinerary

Day 01 Welcome to Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our official tour representative at the airport and transfer to hotel. Short briefing regarding the Annapurna trekking, check in hotel and free rest time.

Day 02 Kathmandu – Pokhara (910m) – 6 hrs drive
After breakfast 6 hrs drive to Pokhara about 200km by tourist Bus through good scenery of River and countryside. Check in to the Hotel and free afternoon on your own. Take a walk around Lakeside or you can do boating at Fewa Lake and overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Pokhara - Tirkhe Dhunga (1577m) (walking 3-4 hrs)
After breakfast an hour drive to Nayapul (50km) from Pokhara and then start our trek about 20 minutes to Birethati, crossing the Modi River, showing the ACAP permit and TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) at the check post then again heading we trek to hille or Tikhe Dhunga.

Day 04 Hille/Tirkhe Dhunga – Ghorepani (2675m) (walking 5-6 hrs)
After Breakfast  around 7 am we start our Trek crosses a stream (Bhurungdi Khola) on a suspension bridge, Above the Ulleri village where the trail climbs gently through pastures and cultivated fields, through rhododendron and oak forests then reach to Nangethanti. We can have lunch or short rest. Again Trek to Ghorepani through the forest. This day will be hard then first day.

Day 05 Ghorepani - Poon Hill (3110m) - Tadapani
Around 4 to 4:30 am we need to wake up to go to Poonhill (3110m) within an hour hike and  with the help of our stick & flash light. On the top of Poon Hill we enjoy with Panoramic Mountain view & beautiful Sunrise view from our own Eyes. Then after an hour Trek down to Poonhill and have breakfast then start for our next destination 6 hrs treks to Tadapani and overnight at Trekkers Lodge.

Day 06 Tadapani – Chhomrung
The trail drops down from Tadapani through dense rhododendron forest. From Ghandrung there is good view of the upper Modi valley. The trekking route starts the long ascent high above the West bank of the Modi Khola and continues up to the village of Chhomrung (2040m). Towering above the village is the mighty peak of Annapurna South with the Fishtail facing it across the valley and overnight at trekkers lodge.

Day 07 Chhomrung - Himalaya Hotel
We walk through the forest to Kuldi Ghar before the route goes steeply down a bank of rock and then levels out, running through riverside bamboo thickets along the base of the gorge. Then the track wind steeply up through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Doban. We camp above Himalaya Hotel (2680m) and overnight at trekkers Lodge.

Day 08 Annapurna South Base Camp (4170m)
The track remains on the west bank of the Modi, now flowing through a more open valley and eventually emerges into the Sanctuary. Straight ahead is the high lateral moraine of the South Annapurna glacier and the Modi follows a deep cliff to the right. This is the site of Machhapuchhre base camp (3780m) from which can be seen a spectacular panorama view of mountains. We either camp here or continue North West, staying above the glacial moraine and overnight at trekkers lodge.

Day 09 Annapurna South Base Camp – Dovan (2630m)
The trekking route begins on a wide-ranging grassy trail before climbing over lateral moraine and down to the beautiful valley. We soon reach the British Expedition Annapurna South Face Base Camp (4234m). The best view is probably obtained from the top of the moraine which we follow until it is cut through by the glacier flowing down from Himal Chuli to the north. Descend and follow the same route to a pleasant camp spot at Dovan which lies on the boundary of the Sanctuary and overnight at trekkers Lodge.

Day 10 Dovan - Jhinu Dada (1750m) (walking 5 hrs)
The trail passes the tiny village of Khuldi Bikas before continuing through rhododendron and bamboo fields to the Alpine-style village. Jhinu Dada offers us hot natural spring water where we can take bath and enjoy. If we take bath at that place, it make us good health and rid of all diseases believe Nepalese people like that.

Day 11 Jhinu Dada – Pothana (1600m)
After an easy descent 5 hrs Trek to the Gurung village of Landrung, the trail crosses a pass before arriving at the tiny village of Pothana, perched high on a ridge and overnight at trekkers lodge.

Day 12 Pothana – Pokhara (910m)
It's a 2hrs climb down to Phedi where we meet our private vehicle on the road and around 30 minutes drive back to Pokhara. This is the last day of our Annapurna Base Camp Trekking and overnight at hotel.

Day 13 Pokhara - Kathmandu
After breakfast at hotel we drive by our private vehicle or tourist bus to Kathmandu and overnight at good hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14 Departure
This is our final day and departure or expand your Nepal holiday trip.
